Dr. Yaneav Cohen, DDS
Dr. Cohen has been setting the highest standards of excellence in clinical pediatric dentistry for the past 10 years. In May 1998, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis. In July 1999, Dr. Cohen finished his Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Naval Training Center in Great Lakes, Illinois. He later completed a Residency in Pediatric Dentistry in July 2004 at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.
Highly regarded in his professional community, Dr. Cohen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has lectured to pediatricians, general dentists and other dental specialists on current topics in pediatric dentistry. His lectures focus on the prevention of dental decay and early intervention. In addition, Dr. Cohen has lectured on minimally invasive restorative procedures which have drawn lots of interest in recent years.
To stay current on the latest advancements in the dental industry, Dr. Cohen maintains many memberships in professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Paradise Valley Dental Study Club, of which he is the past president.
North Scottsdale Pediatric Dentistry believes in giving back to the community, which is why every year, Dr. Cohen and the staff volunteer at schools, local moms’ club organizations and health fairs doing community outreach activities. During Children's Dental Health Month, Dr. Cohen and his staff give out over 1,000 toothbrushes, flossers and provide patient education for those in need.
In his personal life, Dr. Cohen is married to Michele Cohen, a Brazilian concert pianist. Together they have three boys. Dr. Cohen enjoys music, traveling and spending family time outdoors.

Our staff is trained and skilled, and members of our team are associate members of the Arizona Dental Association, hold Arizona Coronal Polishing Certification, and have Oral Radiography Certification. Everyone at North Scottsdale Pediatric Dentistry has years of experience in treating children with the highest level of care.
The staff strives to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
